After a 5-0 Week 5, Week 6 wasn’t as kind as I went 2-3. That puts me at 15-15 through six weeks. Let’s take a look at my five locks against the spread for NFL Week 7.
1. New York Giants (3-3) @ Los Angeles Rams (3-3) (in London) (+2.5)
The Rams are getting ready to ride into mid-season form. Everyone is talking about Josh Brown and OBJ, but forget that the Giants picked up a huge win over the Ravens. The Giants are just a better team than the Rams. Lock in Big Blue by a field goal.
2. New England Patriots (5-1) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) (+7)
Landry Jones is starting for the Steelers. It’s that easy. Lock in the Patriots.
3. Buffalo Bills (4-2) @ Miami Dolphins (1-5) (+3)
The Dolphins are just awful. The Bills are on fire. Even if LeSean McCoy doesn’t play, the Bills are just a far superior team. Expect the Bills to win by a touchdown.
4. Oakland Raiders (4-2) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (2-4) (-1.5)
The Raiders are a better road team than home team. Coming off an ugly loss, they are going to be playing fired up. Look for this game to be a shootout, but for Oakland to prevail by a field goal.
5. San Diego Chargers (2-4) @ Atlanta Falcons (4-2) (-6.5)
The Chargers are in for a long season. The Falcons were a missed pass interference call from a 5-1 start to the season. They should have no issues at home against the Chargers.
