The battle of Ohio has provided its fair share of highlights so far this afternoon as both teams have come up with big plays in the closely contested battle. The Bengals have gotten the better of the big plays, however, and they got a huge one from their superstar wide receiver AJ Green as time expired on the first half.
With the ball on the Cleveland 48 and just seven seconds left on the clock, quarterback Andy Dalton dropped back and heaved the ball towards the end zone. That’s when Green went to work. In the midst of three defenders, he reached up, tipped the ball into the air, juggled it a few times, and then hauled it in for the touchdown.
That gave the Bengals a 21-10 lead at the halftime break.
