The Bengals running back tandem of Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard have had a bit of a tough time getting going so far this season. Hill in particular was having trouble finding his footing this season. He didn’t have a game in which he gained more than 100 yards in the first six weeks and he had scored just one touchdown.
That changed against the Browns and their 27th ranked run defense. Hill got loose in the first half for a 40-yard run, but was stopped at the five. Bernard then cleaned up for the touchdown. Hill, however, would get his TD in the second half, breaking free once again for a huge gain.
That gave Hill 132 yards on just five carries and put the Bengals up on their AFC North rivals 28-17.
