The Kansas City Chiefs struggled to put points on the score board throughout most of their game against the Panthers on Sunday. Through three quarters, the offense had put up just six points and the Chiefs trailed the Panthers 17-3. With the Panthers in possession, the Chiefs defense decided to take matters into its own hands.
On 3rd-and-6, Kansas City sent a blitz that forced a hurried throw from Cam Newton, which safety Eric Berry gladly picked off. It looked like he would be taken down relatively quickly, but he somehow found a way to escape and take it all the way back to the house.
The touchdown made it a three point game 17-14 in the fourth.
