Former 1986 Mets World Series champion and MLB All-Star with the Phillies Lenny Dykstra joined me on The Jake Brown Show on CBS Radio’s Play.it.
While the Mets have plenty of pitching and a good core in place, Dykstra doesn’t see them winning with the current manager at the helm.
“As long as Terry Collins is there, they’ll lose,” said Dykstra. “I can’t take him. He’s a joke. At our 30-year reunion he’s shaking everone’s hand…I said you’re lucky you got good mother-(expletive) pitching…when he was in Houston and had Bagwell and Biggio, those guys hated him. When they hate you, that’s a problem. He’s never won. He’s a loser and he chokes. I don’t know how he has a job if you can’t win with those guys. He’s a losing manager.”
He talks about every topic imaginable from baseball to prison to his book “House of Nails” to women, Mickey Rourke, and so much more.
